Infused Front bar will give more Single Target vs Precise

If an add is in front of the boss the enchant will prox on them so you are losing single target that is why I choose Precise for overall damage.

Why precise over infused front bar

    • Fear Turbo

Infused is better for single target but on any boss with adds WoE will prox your enchant on the closest target to you. So Precise is more consistent in overall DPS.

erm, but if i tab-target boss?

        • Fear Turbo

Negative, it will always prox on the closest target to you from WoE. That is why precise is better in certain cases where you just want single target on boss.

Dunmer or Altmer, which is better?

    • Fear Turbo

Altmer is better this patch but after the changes to off balance Dark elf with back bar fire whenever they update that.

You are a really good player, but I have a question .why not put any cp in staff expert? like 9 or 14.

    • Fear Turbo
      December 4th, 2017 5:05

Because it only buffs 1 thing while Master at arms effects many more sources of DPS.

I see that you use infused berserker backbar, instead of nirn berserker backbar. Is it to have the berserker uptime?

    • Fear Turbo
      December 10th, 2017 4:15

Infused gives you more average spell damage.

Infused Berserker has a max possible uptime of 100%, which is 452 spell damage. Nirn + Berserker enchant has a maximum uptime of 50% + the 200 spell damage you get from Nirn, so 200+0.5*348 = 374. Now obviously these uptimes might be different depending on if it’s an AOE situation or a ST situation, but in general, Infused will give you more spell damage while in AOE, and significantly more spell damage while you are on your front bar (since Berserker carries over and Nirn does not) in ST fights.

I spend about 75% of my time on the front bar on Nightblade and Sorc, so going to the back bar to proc a more powerful enchant is very valuable.

I don’t know where the Nirn meta/idea came from, but I don’t think it’s a particularly good one.

Proccing both enchants on cooldown, infused is stronger. So aoe. In st, infused is stronger because you spend less time on your back bar, meaning nirn isn’t helping you, and the stronger enchant carrying over is also more helpful
And the time you spend on infused back bar also reduces your front bar enchant, so you’ll get more front bar procs as well

Hey Fear, what set up would you recommend to run master architect? If you run the inferno, you would need a different destro skill on the front bar rather then the ult. Was hoping to do this while keeping funnel on. Any suggestions?

I am not really sure what you are asking about? Running 4x Master Arch over Moondancer? if so then it has the same bonuses and that should work just fine. I believe people are using 5x Master Arch instead of a monster helm bonus. I use destro ult for my destro passive on front bar.

Thanks, the later is what I was asking about. So 5x Juli (body) 2x MA (body) and 3x MA (Jewelry) and then vMA Destro back bar and a random staff front bar?

I know that in certain fights LZH and Colt from our MC raids have been using MA 5x to a degree and getting great results with it. I assume they run Juli front staff and use a 1 item. Also be on the look out this build is getting updated big time for next patch with some interesting sets (:
